Hi beauties! We are Ashes & Shine Beauty and we are so excited you are here! We are two friends who met in cosmetology school that share a passion for inspiring others to feel their best through the power of beauty! 

This is the compelling reason behind why we launched a professional wedding + event hair and makeup company! We will also be sharing lots of pro tips and tricks to help you look and feel your best every day!

  Meet Ashley! CFO and Lead Hair Stylist

 Her love of texture, styling, and hair extensions for upwards of 10 years was what lit a fire for her to finally pursue schooling at Paul Mitchell in Los Angeles, as well as go into the business of wedding beauty. She believes there is nothing more special to a bride than being able to look and feel her best on her big day! Ashley is certified with Bellami and The Hair Shop in 5 types of hair extensions - 2 types of wefts, K-Tip, I-Tip, Tape-In - and trained in Heatless Knotted.  Fun fact about Ashley - she’s actually a Certified Financial Planner ® turned stylist, so she has a love for both the business and creative side of the industry!

Meet Shynna! CEO and Lead Makeup Artist

 As a beauty industry professional makeup artist for over 10 years, it was the obvious next step for her to level up her career by attending Paul Mitchell in Los Angeles. Shynna has an extensive history with big name brands in major cities, such as M.A.C Cosmetics in NY and NARS in LA. Her specialty and passion is wedding, event, prom, time period, and high fashion makeup application. Fun fact about Shynna - she was a Laker Girl for the 2018-19 season and is an extremely talented dancer!

Meet Jules! Senior Makeup Artist

Jules is a self proclaimed Skincare Enthusiast and has been a professional makeup artist for over a decade. Jules is a certified MUA through Makeup Designory in Los Angeles. She has worked on set for several pictorial shoots and music videos. You can rest assured knowing that the makeup brushes you see are in good hands!

Meet Lauren! Senior Hair Stylist
Lauren aka Lo/Lolo has been doing hair professionally for 4 years and she absolutely loves it!  She currently co-owns a studio where she specializes in vivid colors and up-styling. Lo loves bringing out people’s inner "baddie." She thinks it's so fun to create the looks her clients envision for themselves. This is a big reason Lo loves working with Ashes & Shine Beauty - to help make your special occasion that much more magical.
